I have lived in OK (near Fort Sill, in the late 1980s). I have (and again, do) live in Los Angeles. And I lived in New York, when I was tending to the aftermath of 9/11 and my then-finaceé’s death (she was, I am told, supposed to have been at her agent’s office in the South Tower early that Tuesday morning, which would have had her exiting the S/B R train at Rector when the Trade Center buildings were falling) as well as on-staff at four Brooklyn newspapers.
I have never known the people of Oklahoma to care about NYC. Now that it is in the interest of OK to profit from 9/11, and use not only the image of towers that even New Yorkers despised when in 1972 they were being built (for a reason that no-one in OK could imagine, let alone state) but that of the digitized U.S. Army filed uniform, it should be chastised.
SCREW YOU, OK. You lot have nothing to do with what happened in lower Manhattan despite the fact that one of your own country boys bombed a federal government building in your otherwise insignificant bit of shiftless sand, an act what claimed not one life of any federal government agent owing to the mysterious absence of them, whereas in NYC a few thousand good people died, people that were until their collective death were despised by hicks in the fly-over zone that finds its southern centre in OK.
Trust me when I state that no fuzzy foreigner cares to bomb the shit-hole named Oklahoma. I take the I-70 through the sudden snowstorms of not-quite-Nebraska when I drive across the continent, that I may avoid OK.
If this license plate is for real, I am appalled.
